The spiritual Kingdom of Heaven operates differently than the natural ways of the world. If you are going to get very far exploring the realms of heaven, you will need to learn some key principles of how things work there, which are not at all similar to how things work in the natural. In the Kingdom of Heaven, things are upside down and inside out compared to what we are used to in the natural.
Basic Principle #1: To go higher, you need to lower yourself rather than trying to force your way higher.
Jas 4:10 MKJV Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
1Pe 5:6 MKJV Therefore be humbled under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time,
Mat 23:11-12 MKJV But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. (12) And whoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and he who shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Basic Principle #2: To walk in the Kingdom Life, you must give up your earthly life (you must die to live).
Mat 10:39 AMP Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
Mat 16:25 AMP For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].
Luk 9:24 MKJV For whoever will save his life shall lose it, but whoever will lose his life for My sake, he shall save it.
Gal 2:20 MKJV I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.
Rom 6:2-9 AMP Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? (3) Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? (4) We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life. (5) For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God]. (6) We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. (7) For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men]. (8) Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, (9) Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him.
There are other principles of the Kingdom that are opposite to how it is in the world, but these two are supremely important and a good start for you to meditate on for a while. To get anywhere of depth as a spiritual explorer, you must realize that the way you have grown up and done things in the world is not going to work there. The rules of operation are completely different, and will go against all your natural mind understands.
May your adventures in exploration be blessed!
