Get Real

We need to get real about creation. So much has been twisted around, misunderstood, misused, abused, not used, demonized, idolized…

It could be that there has been no greater confusion about creation caused than by institutional religion. How can this be? Let us go back to the beginning of Adamkind (modern human beings). If we go back to the correct foundation to start on, we can build a right understanding of our designed relationship with the natural creation.

First, the prophet used by the Creator tells us in Genesis about the creation of Adamkind (our species) and the information that is pertinent to us. He does not give all details for a scientific book, or even a full historical accounting. Only the basic information we need to know is given, so we’ll have a right starting point to understand why we exist and what we are doing in this natural creation, on Earth. However, this basic information is full of layers and full of astounding wisdom.

An important focal point is the center of the Garden of Eden where the two named trees abide. These two trees serve as a choice for Adamkind, kind of like having two paths to choose between walking down. The account explains that they chose the wrong tree, because they listened to the wrong voice. God’s voice told them to avoid the tree that would lead to death (including destruction, sorrow, depression, decay, suffering, etc.). The serpent’s voice told them differently and accused God of ill intentions to keep that tree from them. He claimed they could become like God by eating the tree God warned them against.

Realize this was a major perversion. God created man to be in their image anyway (Gen 1:26). That was God’s plan. The serpent was accusing God of trying to keep them from being in God’s image, and that being why God warned them against the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God said the fruit of that tree would lead them into death experience, while the serpent said the fruit of that tree would make them like God.

To this day, this is the root of where people are disconnected from their loving Creator who wants the best for them. They do not really perceive God as a benevolent Creator who has their best intentions at heart. Some even get to the point of intense bitterness and anger that God allows the death we are experiencing. Others just don’t realize there is a plan and they are in it, and the plan for them is good. They are wasting their time trying everything and anything that will give pleasure; many with the hope of being in a better place (heaven) some day after this death.

Religion begins to twist things from here on as well. Firstly by continued propagation of the idea the serpent first brought to man; that the knowledge of good and evil can make man like God (godly) and grant them favor with God. It just perpetuates death in a seemingly endless cycle. Some wake up to this and just become hopeless. Others blindly follow the blind in a pointless parade of man’s religious efforts and increasing knowledge as what makes them righteous.

As people eat of this tree’s fruit, they become ashamed. God’s voice comes and they hide in the bushes, trying to cover their nakedness with fig leaves. The experience of the first death (what we call “life” in the natural – since we are born into it and it is “normal” now for everyone). This shame causes a twisting of man’s relationship with creation and what is right and wrong.

See, that tree the serpent pushes says it gives knowledge of good and evil, but really it causes a perverted version of the knowledge of good and evil. Good and evil is turned around, upside down, all over the place, until the human mind is confused. Then, men make up completely insane rules about good and evil. This is when man becomes paranoid and sees demons behind natural things.

Let us go to an example of how this works. Alcohol. The fermentation process is a part of creation, planned and intended by God. It has purpose and is useful when used by man properly. The substances themselves are neutral. They are not intelligent beings. They are neither good nor evil – they simply serve whoever uses them. Thus, they become good or evil only by the use of the person using them. If the person is being evil, the substance will be used for evil. If the person is being good, the substance will be used for good. It is no different than a piece of wood, which can be used to build a house (good) or to murder someone (evil).

When someone gets deep enough into feasting on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and listening to the perverted logic of the serpent, alcohol suddenly becomes inherently bad and even gets demons attached to it. Then, Satan is given credit for that portion of creation rather than the actual Creator who made it.

Someone can get so entrenched in such knowledge of good and evil thinking, that even what I just said can be responded to with thinking like, “But people get abused because of alcohol! People die because of alcohol! It is evil and should be avoided!”

That is an example of how this mindset of being poisoned by the wrong tree works. Instead of realizing that the beings misusing the creation are at fault, the substance itself is faulted. When we suffer from this malady, we are always found to be hypocrites. The same person who demonizes alcohol uses wood objects, though wood objects also are used to abuse people and kill people. They do not ban wood objects because some people with evil hearts abuse and kill others with wood objects. Wood is not demonized, but alcohol is. Do you see how this is perversion and completely insane?

The real problem is not the substances of Earth. The real problem is that we are born in iniquity, capable of good and evil, and the perverted thinking resulting from the wrong fruit our ancestors partook of. We are in death, condemned already, and see things through the filter of that perversion of creation.

Is it any wonder that men then get good and evil all twisted up? We’ve all done it to some level at some time in our existence.

There is a cure! That is the Good News! God has made provision to redeem mankind from Death and the perversions it has caused. Even our minds can be restored to a proper (original) creation perspective. We can be transformed by the renewing of our minds. When you let this happen, you’ll start connecting back to God like man was originally created to be in Eden, and you’ll end up blissed out of your mind full of joy, peace, and love, and a perspective like your Father in heaven! This perspective is one of dominion through redemption.

Let me repeat that. This perspective is one of DOMINION THROUGH REDEMPTION! Adam was created to have dominion over all of the Earth (representing natural creation – what we experience with our senses). The plants, the animals, the elements; all were given to Adam to rule over, as the king under the heavenly King, created in his image.

That includes alcohol or any other part of creation. Man is to have dominion over it, not be ruled over by it, or feel the need to avoid it as greater (more powerful) than he.

It is time we start redeeming creation with the redemption we have in Christ! It is time we started taking back what the devil stole from us! Demonizing creation just lets him keep it. We should not do this. This is the mentality of the Israelite people who died in the wilderness, unwilling to fight for the promised land against the enemies. They saw the enemies as too great to defeat, so they chose to stay away and just not fight.

Don’t be a part of that generation. They may experience God to some level, as the Israelites did in Egypt and the wilderness journey. But, they are not experiencing heaven on earth and bringing the Kingdom into earth as in heaven. They are not tapping into that level. In fact, they usually have the mindset that heaven is something we experience only after our body dies. The resurrection becomes a side topic and rarely spoken of, while floating off to heaven becomes the main thing to hope for.

Repent. Stop eating the wrong fruit. Stop believing you are able to know good and evil in your mind and it make you godly or righteous. It cannot do so. It only produces more death. Dead religion in many cases.

Only Christ, the Tree of Life, is the path that leads to full and correct understanding of our purpose and how to fulfill that in harmony with the creation God put us in by perfect, divine will. How to properly use what is around us becomes apparent, without being defeated, but taking dominion over the Earth instead.

Since it was used as an example in this article, we will give a tip on using alcohol. The only truly godly reason to avoid consuming alcohol is love. Love is supreme. If we avoid drinking because of love, we do well. If we avoid it to follow some religious idea of the knowledge of good and evil, we are still in bondage and deceived. We need to be set free indeed in Christ, to be free enough to operate in heavenly love, rather than legalism and the perverted knowledge of that corrupt tree.

Kathy and I avoid drinking alcohol most of the time simply because we don’t want anyone to stumble in their faith over such things. Our love for others is what causes us to be cautious in our use of creation. We know that such things are not evil and were created for our enjoyment with God. We know Jesus made fermented wine from water after everyone at the celebration already had plenty to drink. We know that God commanded the Israelite people to bring wine and strong drink to their yearly feasts before God, because they were to be celebrating – joyful and having a good time. It is the perversion and abuse of the substance that is wrong. But, because our precious friends and family around us who stumble over this issue, we abstain in their presence, like Paul exemplified.

Love reigns over all. Love will never fail. 1 Cor 13.

My dear friends, we love you enough, having received this revelation as we mature in Christ, going from glory to glory, to share. Stop eating the wrong fruit! Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so you can get a fuller view of the Kingdom of Heaven, your destiny in it, and how to bring such to Earth as it is in Heaven, according to Father’s will. Adam was placed in this Earth to do such. It is your destiny! You will never be fully content deep inside until you come to this place and surrender to why you were created.

You are programmed for it. This is why according to your circumstances and personality you have sought pleasure and fulfillment, and to have purpose for something greater than yourself. God made you for the Garden of Eden as your home (Eden is Hebrew for pleasure/delight) and to have glorious purpose for bringing the Eternal into the Temporal. You are to take the dominion of God in the spiritual and exercise it in the natural. When you do this, that is when you will begin to reconnect with the Bliss God created you for. No drug, no sexual experience, nothing in all creation can compare to the Bliss God has made you for in your purpose!

In fact, once you begin plugging in to Eden by accepting your place in God’s plan in Christ, natural things will become more enjoyable, not less. When I get jacked up to the Eden of God, food and drink tastes so much better. After one of our meetings, a group went out to eat with us. We were all enjoying the food much more than normal. We were blissed out in the glory of God, connecting to our purpose, and so everything became better.

It does not require religiousness. It does not require your self-righteousness. It simply takes repenting from doing things the perverted knowledge of good and evil way, and surrendering to God in Christ. Surrender. When you do, you’ll experience bliss indescribable, more and more as you reconnect and develop your faith and relationship with God.

Don’t be fooled by man’s religion, even religion based on The Bible. Spiritually maturity is not evidenced by how good someone looks outwardly based on religious ideas. Spiritual maturity is evidenced by how much we are reconnected with Eden and exercising Adam’s dominion over the creation under our Lord and King. How much we are ENJOYING the Bliss of God tells us how far along in the walk of faith we are, in reconnecting with God. There are plenty of religious people well experienced in religion, and being seen as advanced and examples to follow, who don’t have much spiritual bliss overtaking them.

Look for the guy totally jacked up in the spirit to the point of being on the floor drooling in bliss with a smile from ear to ear, and that is a guy who is advanced in connecting with God. You cannot be hooked into the billion volt electrical bliss line of heaven and not get whacked real good, beyond recognition. Religious leaders who want to have it all together on the outside and think such is setting a good example, are still immature in the faith and in spiritual growth. They are still trying to serve God in carnal ways of religion and outward appearance of religious people, to be man-pleasers, rather than God-pleasers hooked up to the pleasure of God.

You can continue to try your own religious way of being “godly,” but it will not lead to Life more abundantly. It may lead to “blessing” in the world. You don’t have to be hooked up to God to have a lot of money. The most wicked people on the planet have most of the money and use it to pull strings to control the people for their own agendas based in greed. You don’t have to be hooked up to God to have a lot of friends or favor with certain people. There are a lot of wicked people in high positions with much favor. You don’t have to be hooked up to God to be a great and successful athlete.

But, you do have to actually be hooked up to God to experience Eden Life of abundance! There is no money system in Eden, which is outside of the world. There is no competition spirit in Eden, so no need for athletes. There are no politics in Eden, so no need for favor with men as a man-pleaser.

May your understanding be enlightened by the Holy Spirit and you come to know the fullness of the love of God and the bliss of Eden! We’ve begun our journey and look forward to the glory to glory ahead of us!
