Don’t Bow At Their Altar

To be greatly effective for advancing the Kingdom in our generation, we must not succumb to the bondage of the traditions of men, that seek to keep us from going forward into the next great move of the Holy Spirit on this earth. We do not honor traditions for the sake of pleasing men, whether they are traditions of doctrine or traditions of practice. We look back to the original Instructions given by the Prophets and Apostles of old along with the teachings of Jesus, and we look now to the leading of the Comforter sent from heaven to lead us into all Truth. Keeping our eyes on God, in Messiah, we take our eyes off of religious men and their religious systems. They are not our Savior. They are not our Comforter who leads us in the way of righteousness.

Do not bow at the altar of the traditions of men, which make the Word of God ineffective (to them and those who follow them).

This does not mean we fight traditions for the sake of being radical. We simply do not bow to those traditions. Also, we recognize that all “tradition” is not “bad.” The issue is not traditions being good or evil, but is that we serve one Master, and tradition is not to hinder us. If partaking in tradition does not hinder us, we find no reason to destroy tradition, without cause.

Mar 7:13 MKJV making the Word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have delivered. And you do many such things.
